This months edition features news of a literary festival brought back to life in the rollings hills of Leitrim, Ireland and memories of Vauxhall, Lambeth in the 1950’s as part of the London Culture series.

Drumshanbo Literary Festival* is at the end of August, highlights include a reading and conversation with author Claire Keegan who was the joint winner with Sally Hayden of the Orwell Prize 2022 for political writing and who wrote the short story upon which the hugely successful and Oscar nominated Irish language film “An Cailín Ciúinthe” was based.
